Holiday Savings Tip #1: Make a list & check it twice. Create an all-inclusive budget – think about gift giving, holiday meal costs, and even including small costs that you don’t normally consider during the holidays, such as using extra electricity for outdoor decorations, or gas & food if you happen to be traveling this year.
Once you’ve created your list, set your budget for the month. Track and log your purchases as you go so you know how you’re doing, and do your best to stick to it without going over-budget.
