Hugh Blocker Jr

Hugh Blocker grew up in the financial industry. Raised in a family-run business, he developed an early appreciation for what long-term client relationships actually require: consistency, accountability, and genuine trust built over time.

Hugh graduated from Frostburg University in 1981 with a BS in Accounting and joined his father's accounting and tax firm shortly after. He passed the CPA exam in 1985 and took over management of the firm in 1988. Over the decades since, he has expanded his practice to include retirement planning strategies, bringing the same standard of personalized service to his investment clients that his accounting clients have relied on for more than 40 years.

In addition to his CPA designation, Hugh holds FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, along with Life and Health insurance licenses.

He enjoys time with his wife, Mary Beth, and their children and grandchildren, and is an active member of his church, where he is committed to supporting the congregation's food bank.
