Toni Whaley

2024 NTSA President and 2024 Marquis Who's Who Honoree, Toni E. Whaley is Co-Founder and CEO of Paladin Advisor Group, A PlanMember Financial Center. She has been a financial planner for over 20 years. Together with her husband Mike, she has grown Paladin Advisor Group to nine associate financial professionals, servicing several counties in the greater Baltimore and Washington DC area.

Under her leadership, Paladin Advisor Group serves more than 3,500 clients and manages over $300 million* in client assets. Toni holds FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses, along with Life and Health insurance licenses, and has earned the CRES designation as a Certified Retirement Education Specialist.

Toni's practice is grounded in a simple belief: the people who dedicate their lives to serving others deserve the same level of care and clarity when it comes to their finances. Her clients include education professionals and their spouses, federal employees, and employees of nonprofit and for-profit organizations, as well as small business owners. She is well-versed in pension and benefit structures, retirement income planning, and senior benefits topics including Medicare and Social Security.

Her work goes beyond numbers. Toni helps clients understand who they are financially, where they want to go, and how to build a plan that best gets them there with confidence.

Toni is an active member of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce, the Financial Services Institute, and the Howard County Estate Planning Council. She speaks regularly on topics including personal financial fitness, how money functions in our economy, and personal financial responsibility. Paladin Advisor Group holds an A+ accreditation with the Better Business Bureau.

Outside of work, Toni is a devoted mother to three adult sons and a proud "Mimi" to four grandchildren. She and her husband Mike share their home with two Shih Tzus, Bear and Willow. Her passion for serving families affected by disability drives her involvement with the Joni and Friends organization.
